Abscott Cottage is an architect designed contemporary detached holiday cottage near Shirwell, North Devon. It features a spectacular first floor open plan reception room, a pine-beamed space reveling sweeping views over lovely North Devon countryside. There are three sumptuously furnished ground floor bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms have double doors opening onto sun-catching patios.

Abscott was built in 2006, as a holiday cottage to meet the needs of families and friends holidays for families or friends. The cottage is perfect for holidays in any season. It has ample patio areas for sunbathing or dining under the stars (a large BBQ is available from Easter to the end of September), or indoors around the cozy woodburning stove on comfortable sofas.

The Cottage is situated on the edge of Youlston Park, a North Devon estate once the boyhood home of Sir Francis Chichester. It lies within easy reach of North Devon’s finest sandy beaches and the rolling moorland of Exmoor.
