Annie’s Cottage is a one bedroom cottage full of charm and character, with a host of original features. It was originally the accommodation of the servant at Manston Court whose name was Annie. The exposed flint walls add to the historic feel of this lovely cottage. Annie's Cottage overlooks the large secluded garden area to the front of Manston Court, and the newly created seating area allows you to enjoy alfresco dining, or to just relax, taking in the peaceful ambiance of the property whilst soaking up the sunshine.


The cottage itself has a very large inglenook fireplace in the sitting/dining room, which incorporates an original bakers oven. The beamed ceiling and pretty windows, create a cosy feel in this lovely room. The three foot thick walls help the cottage stay beautifully cool on hot summer days, and comfortably warm on cold winter ones. A chaise lounge which converts into a double sofa bed, allows the flexibility of having additional guests. This room is perfect for relaxing in whilst listening to music, or watching television on the large flat screen tv which has free view and a DVD.


In the well equipped kitchen there is an electric hob with a circulating fan oven and grill. There is also a microwave oven, toaster, fridge with ice box, and a washing machine/tumble dryer.

The cottage features a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a heated towel rail.

The first floor bedroom is a charming and romantic room, with sloping ceilings and bay windows. The very comfortable king-size zip link bed, and spacious walk in wardrobe, add to the feel of luxury and space that this accommodation provides.


Parking outside the cottage in the private courtyard, or in the cool shade of the lovely tall trees opposite, add to the relaxing experience of staying in Annies Cottage.

Situated in a quiet rural location just outside the village of Manston, Manston Court is part of a cluster of buildings mentioned in the Doomsday Book.

The cost of linen is included in the price, but please could you provide your own beach towels. An iron, ironing board, and hair dryer are also provided. A high chair and travel cot are also available upon request.

Arrival time is from 2pm onwards, and departure time is 11 am.
