Due South Holiday Cottage Description

'Due South' is the attic on the house in the picture, it is a quiet and relaxing space with self catering facilities for 3 and can be rented for between £300 - £475 per week.

The two bedroomed accommodation is within short walking distances of the town, the ruins of Whitby Abbey, St Mary's Church, Whitby Harbour / Eating Places and the many traditional Whitby Pubs.

This self catering holiday accommodation in the attic of the house was originally the servants quarters (and latterly a jet workshop) in the ‘Old Manor House’ built circa 1740 by Sir Adam Boulby who owned the now defunct tenements that formed ‘Boulby Bank’ and the footpath that takes you down and back from the harbour and town.
You will be able to park on the drive (One car only) and reach the accommodation via its own dedicated door.

Due to the construction of the attic (structural timbers of the house roof) you will understand that there is a no smoking no candles policy. Sadly we do not allow pets.

Please note the picture of the stairs to the left and that they are quite steep and are not suitable for infirm and less than reasonably agile people.

This property has been advertised on My Favourite Holiday Cottages since 04-08-2011
