Elderberry Cottage Holiday Cottage Description

This Northumberland self-catering cottage has wonderful views all around. The Cheviot Hills look magnificent from the bedrooms: the changing colours and lights throughout the different seasons are a delight each day.

For those looking for farm holiday cottages in Northumberland, Elderberry is a very comfortable choice; It sleeps six in two upstairs dormer bedrooms: a double and a family bedroom with a double and two single beds. It is suitable for a family or those wanting a little extra space.

Downstairs there is a comfortable lounge with an open fire, fully fitted kitchen with a walk in pantry and lovely north facing views over farmland towards Goatscrag and woodlands. In addition, there is a bathroom with a bath and over bath shower and a separate dining room with French doors opening onto decking: this is a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying the peace, beauty and tranquillity that Fenton Hill has to offer.

When the buddleia bush near the decking is in bloom it is covered in butterflies and the birds on the bird feeder bring endless pleasure. As with all of the others, Elderberry is a traditional Northumberland cottage with a high standard of comfort and facilities -it is truly a home from home with oil central heating throughout.

This property has been advertised on My Favourite Holiday Cottages since 28-07-2011
