"I stood at the garden gate trying to find fault with this perfect scene.....I was out of the wind and there was not a sound to be heard but the birds. Great Treverran has received excellent reviews in the Sunday Times, Saturday Telegraph, Country Life, Country Living and has been photographed by Tim walker for Italian Vogue.
The house is ideally placed for exploring the South Cornish Coast, where wooded hills and valleys meet a sub-tropical coastline of bays, coves and estuaries speckled with enchanting fishing villages.
While the energetic can enjoy sailing, swimming, golf, riding and walking, the more contemplative or sedentary can visit historic houses and gardens, fish, dine out or simply lie on the beach. If the weather is unsettled, there is always Rock and Padstow on the North Coast, twenty miles and a micro-climate away.
August sees both the Royal Regatta and Carnival week in Fowey, and Carnival Week in fowey, and every May there is a literary festival, inspired by Daphne du Maurier, in whose 'house on the Strand' Great Treverran appears.
TRAVEL- Great Treverran is 8.5 miles from the A30 duel carriage way to Exeter and the M5.
