Helvellyn cottages are old miners cottages above the village of Glenridding in the Lake District National Park.

The adjacent cottages each sleep 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom. Downstairs there is a living room/dining room with 2 sofas, wood burning stove, Flatscreen TV with freeview Sky TV, DVDs, games, books and more.

The cottages are in an elevated position above Glenridding overlooking the foothills of Helvellyn and with views down the valley towards Ullswater, England's most beautiful lake.

Glenridding and the nearby village of Patterdale have a great range of places to eat and drink as well as good local shops. The nearest pub is just 500 yards downhill from the cottage.

Both cottages are pet friendly. Please note there is a £20 additional weekly charge for pets.

Cottage 1 has a great enclosed garden to the side of the property with panoramic views of the fells and towards the lake. Cottage 2 has no garden but has a bench at the front to soak up the afternoon sun.

There is off road parking for one car per cottage next to the cottages which are on the bidlepath that leads to the old Greenside mine, which is now the Helvellyn YHA. Peace, tranquility and stunning views make this the perfect place to stay in the Lake District.
