A double height entrance hall leads the eye up to the fabulous vaulted first floor sitting room with exposed stone walls and antique oak beams, a wood burning stove and balcony from which to enjoy the spectacular views. There is also a beautiful restored upright piano to add to the relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor sitting area with comfortable furniture offers the perfect spot from which to keep an eye on the children playing in the large private garden, or simply to soak up the tranquillity and those glorious views.
The well equipped beamed kitchen boasts a window seat and large wooden table ideal for leisurely family suppers. A range cooker and fridge/freezer plus washer/dryer ensure that everyone can be catered for with ease.
Two ground floor suites and two first floor twin/double bedrooms with family bathroom sleep 8 in comfort. There is also a folding single bed and space for cots or ready beds if required.
Carefully renovated to balance period features with 21st century convenience, Luggs Barn features all the comforts of home. TV, DVD, CD player, Freeview, and plenty of games, books and CDs, as well as a selection of baby and toddler toys, ensure the whole family is entertained. Children of all ages are very welcome. We can provide (by prior arrangement) a travel cot, highchair, stairgates and changing mat.
Please note there are several internal steps as floor levels vary, so this property is unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchair users.
