Orchard Barn comprises an open plan living room with comfortable seating and Flat Screen Freeview/DVD player and CD player. There is a dining table and chairs to enjoy a meal and plan the next days outing.
The kitchen area is fully fitted with everything you could need and includes a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment.
The stairs from the lounge lead to a large landing with door to the newly refurbished bathroom with fluffy towels and plenty of hot water is always available.
The large double bedroom has a high ceiling with exposed beams and has plenty of storage, including wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table.
There is a private garden with table and chairs overlooking the Apple Orchard and fields beyond. Enjoy a relaxing cup of tea after a busy day exploring. Parking is adjacent to the cottage.
Orchard Barn is in the village of Upleadon which is 3 miles from the market town of Newent with its many small shops, mini-markets and The Birds of Prey Centre. Many of the buildings date from the 13th century and in the centre of the town there is the Old Market Hall which was built in l668.
The location is prefect for visitng the many attractions that the area has to offer including The City of Gloucester, Cheltenham and Bath. Ledbury, Ross on Wye and Tewksbury are all about 8 miles away with masses of glorious countryside. Also visit The Enchanting Forest of Dean, the scenic Cotswolds and the breathtaking Malverns Hills. Information on all the places of interest are available in the cottage.
