Owls Roost nestles at the base of Cox Tor, on the outskirts of Tavistock, approx 2 miles from the town centre, on the edge of Dartmoor.

Designed with luxury and romance in mind Owls Roost is spacious, light and comfortable. Wonderful beams have been exposed throughout and feature in each room.
A short walk up an adjoining bridlepath takes you directly onto Cox Tor, sitting above Tavistock, with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside.
From here you can walk for miles on Dartmoor and explore the many historic sites in the locality.
We are situated on cycle path 27 on the National network of cycle paths. There is plenty of storage space for cycles and a drying area for wet clothes

The large bedroom has a king sized pine bed and plenty of storage space for clothes. Bed linen is provided free of charge.
The bathroom is special with a double bath and separate shower enclosure. Towels are also provided but please bring your own towels for use on the beach.
The living room has a wood burner and settee with recliners, a large TV with free view, DVD player and a CD/radio.
The fitted kitchen provides a cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and all the other utensils and equipment to ensure you have a comfortable stay. We even supply you with teas and coffee.
There are laundry facilities on site.

Complimentary fresh flowers, a cream tea, logs for the wood burner and, when available, fresh eggs from our own hens.
