Venture down a leafy country lane, over an ancient stone bridge & up a private drive to find Penyrallt Fach Cottage. Located on a beautiful, secluded organic farm in the Teifi Valley of north Carmarthenshire, the cottage is the perfect rural retreat for couples or families looking for a real country holiday & is only 30 minutes from the superb beaches of Cardigan Bay,
The cottage offers comfortable traditional accommodation of character with exposed beams, wood-lined ceilings & a wood-burning stove & is decorated using bold colours giving a feel of warmth & welcome.
The well-equipped, open-plan kitchen/sitting-room has a large farmhouse table with seating for 4.
There is a comfortable sofa & easy chairs which are perfect for relaxing in front of the very efficient wood-burner after long days on the beach or walking in the hills.
For evening entertainment there is a TV, DVD player, digital radio with iPod dock and a large selection of dvds, books & board-games.
On arrival guests will find a small welcome basket of organic/fairtrade items with a home-baked cake & fresh flowers from the garden on the table.
The two bed-rooms, a double & a twin, are simply & attractively furnished. The twin room has beds that have been made reflecting the traditional cupboard-beds found in old Welsh houses, giving them a quirky originality.
The double bed has a luxurious goose-down duvet & the twin beds have cosy organic wool duvets & beautiful, locally made Welsh wool counterpanes are provided for all the beds.
Both bedrooms have electric heaters and and there is an electric blanket on the double bed.
All bed-linen is supplied.
The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower, wash-basin, lavatory, heated towel-rail & washing machine.
Towels are supplied.
All fuel, electricity, bedlinen & towels are included in the price.
Household basics including washing-up liquid & washing-powder & fire-lighters are provided.
The cottage has an enclosed,lawned garden.
A barbecue is available.
A delightful 2 berth bow-top Gypsy Caravan is available on the farm as an extra bedroom with the cottage or as a romantic retreat for couples wanting an idyllic country holiday.

The private water supply for the cottage & farm comes from pure natural springs on the farm & is tested annually.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £10 per dog(max. 2 dogs).
Guests are very welcome to walk around the farm through the fields & woods & to see the day-to-day running of a dairy farm including the milking of the cows.
The farm is a member of the Soil Association Open Farm Network.
Guided farm walks in the company of the farmer can be requested, free of charge.

Penyrallt Fach is in the Teifi Valley and is an ideal base from which to discover this stunning corner of West Wales.
The Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion sections of the All Wales Coast Path are within easy reach as are the wonderful beaches of Cardigan Bay. The Berwyn & Cambrian mountains to the north & the Preselis to the south also provide fine areas for walking in spectacular scenery.
There are many ancient sites, castles & delightful small market towns to visit as well as beautiful gardens, museums & artist's studios & galleries.
