Venture down a leafy country lane and over an ancient stone bridge to find Penyrallt Fach Cottage. Located on beautiful organic dairy farm in the Teifi Valley of north Carmarthenshire, the cottage is the perfect rural retreat for couples or families.

The cottage offers comfortable accommodation of character with exposed beams, wood-lined ceilings & a wood-burning stove & is decorated using a palette of bold colours giving a sense of warmth & welcome.
Much of the furniture & fittings including the floorboards, kitchen & beds has been made by the owners using timber harvested from the sustainably managed woodlands on the farm.

The open-plan, well equipped kitchen/sitting-room has a large farmhouse table with seating for 4.
On arrival guests will find a small welcome basket of organic/fairtrade items with a home-baked cake & fresh flowers from the garden on the table.

The comfortable sofa & easy chairs are perfect for relaxing in front of the wood-burning stove after long days on the beach or walking in the hills. For evening entertainment there is a TV, DVD player, digital radio with iPod dock, and a large selection of dvds, books & board-games.

The two bed-rooms, a double & a twin, are simply & attractively furnished. The twin room has beds that have been made reflecting the traditional cupboard-beds found in old Welsh houses, giving them a quirky originality.
The double bed has a luxurious goose-down duvet & the twin beds have cosy organic wool duvets & beautiful, locally made Welsh wool blankets.
The double bedroom has an electric heater and an electric blanket on the bed.
All bed-linen is supplied.

The bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower, wash-basin, lavatory,heated towel-rail & washing machine.
Towels are supplied.

All fuel, electricity, bedlinen & towels are included in the price.

A delightful 2 berth bow-top Gypsy Caravan is available on the farm as an extra bedroom with the cottage or as a romantic retreat for couples wanting an idyllic country hoilday.

The water supply for the cottage & farm comes from pure natural springs on the farm.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £10 per dog(max. 2 dogs).

Guests are very welcome to walk around the farm through the fields & woods & to see the day-to-day running of a dairy farm including the milking of the cows.
The farm is a member of the Soil Association Open Farm Network.
Guided farm walks in the company of the farmer can be requested, free of charge.

Penyrallt Fach is an ideal base from which to discover this stunning corner of West Wales.
The Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion Coast Paths are within easy reach as are the wonderful beaches of Cardigan Bay. The Berwyn & Cambrian mountains to the north & the Preselis to the south also provide fine walking & spectacular scenery.
There are many ancient sites, castles & delightful small market towns to visit as well as beautiful gardens, museums & galleries.
