This delightful Cumbrian cottage is one of a small terrace of 6 former miners cottages located at the foot of Honister Pass close to Borrowdale and Keswick in the heart of Cumbria and the Lake District. Recently refurbished to a very high standard the cottage incorporates superb slate work by a leading local craftsman. The views are breathtaking and you can walk directly onto the fells from the cottage. The cottage takes its name from the stream that cascades in front of the cottage.

This charming comfortable cottage with spectacular mountain views is full of charm yet providing all modern amenities and full central heating. An ideal base for walking, bird watching and exploring the Lake District. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people.
The cottage has a main lounge with feature open fireplace made from local slate and leads to large kitchen fully equipped to a high standard with fridge, microwave etc. Utility area with freezer and automatic washing machine. Main bathroom with shower over bath and W.C.is downstairs.
Upstairs - large double bedroom with superb views, 2nd double bedroom (4ft bed) and a 3rd bunk bedded room, W.C. and hand basin.
Central heating and linen provided (please bring your own towels)
