You will enter the Scriptorium from the hall of the scriptorium building with its marvelous ancient tiled floor.
The vestibule under a vaulted ceiling leads you into
the bathroom with bath tub & shower over and heated towel rail

The lounge with dining area and integrated kitchen including gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge with icebox, microwave.
Tall windows give plenty of light & lovely views towards the Abbey Church, the Moat House & into the old trees of the west part of the abbey grounds

The staircase leads to the bedroom with a king-size double bed under the original high ceiling, a sky light to watch stars & clouds from your bed and the special atmosphere created by stained-glass windows with symbols of the past home of monks...

Adding to the special feeling of the apartment are the hectagonal shape of the building towards the west, vaulted ceilings & archways, comfy tub-chairs & sofa, some ancient chapel chairs & the matching table telling plenty stories of the past ... many more for you to explore by yourself ... and to feel at home!


TV with integrated DVD/CD-player and a vintage radio help to enjoy each and every minute at the Scriptorium and to relax.
