A delightful, detached, ground floor cottage set in a quiet rural location, overlooking grazing fields in the small village of Llanfair-yn-Neubwll, a couple of miles from Valley and a one mile walk from the beaches and coastline surrounding Rhosneigr Bay.

A spacious and social cottage, with parts dating back to the 1760s, this lovely holiday home has been extended and renovated to offer an inviting property, with hot tub and barbecue hut that’s ideal for families to enjoy.

The main living area forms the hub of the home, with an open plan layout including a fitted kitchen with a breakfast area and a cosy seating area with a TV and woodburning stove.

A door leads off the kitchen into a large conservatory overlooking the garden, where there is further comfy seating and a TV, as well as a dining table for you all to settle around.

There is a second sitting room with pool table, TV and chill-out area that the children will want to make their own.

The bedrooms consist of three doubles, three twins and a single with a further toddler bed.

In addition, the master bedroom has a separate nursery room with a cot for the very young.

Outside you will find the delights of a Scandinavian barbecue hut, which can seat everyone in comfort on benches covered with fur pelts, and allows alfresco barbecue meals to be enjoyed all year round.

There is a playground area for the children to play safely, which includes a swing set, climbing frame with cargo net, basketball hoop and outdoor table tennis, as well as over half an acre of enclosed garden with lawns and a patio to explore.

As if that wasn’t enough for you, then the luxury of a hot tub should add the final feature for a fantastic and memorable stay.

The countryside surrounding this cottage offers great walks and access onto the Anglesey Coastal Path, which leads onto Cymyran Bay and the miles of golden beach in Rhosneigr cove, accessible within 20 minutes’ walk.

Further afield is the village of Rhosneigr, where you will find opportunities for swimming, surfing, especially kite surfing, together with water skiing and diving.

Continue up the coast towards Holyhead, which is well-known for being a busy ferry port, however the town also has a number of interesting attractions and is a bustling shopping and visitors area in its own right.

The current lighthouse is on South Stack, on the other side of Holyhead Mountain, and is open to the public, an area which is popular with birdwatchers.

The Grandchildren loved the large garden with its swings and hot tub and the adults made full use of the hot tub and barbecue hut.
