Property Details

Beautiful Porter's Cottage is a 3 bedroom property brimming with period charm and character. The cottage is surrounded by our 20 acre family run park near Oban overlooking Loch Creran and is a former railway cottage conversion located just below our old Creagan Station viewpoint. It has its own extensive private grounds with unique fire in the wall, a BBQ area and a pretty summer house. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds and you have free use of an onsite information room with WiFi. A wealth of outdoor activities sit right on your doorstep including free loch fishing, horse riding, munro walking, golf, sea kayaking and cycling along the adjacent Red Fox Cycle trail. We offer bike hire within the park!

The cottage sleeps 6 guests and is appointed to a high standard. The property offers lots of space (formerly it was 2 cottages, home to the families who worked at the railway station).

Bedrooms/Bathrooms:- 3 bedrooms including 2 doubles and a twin bedroom - double bedrooms have wonderful views towards the loch and lots of wardrobe and storage space. The twin is to the side of the cottage. A bright and modern bathroom has a full suite including a bath, wc, a large mirror, shaver point, a wash basin and ample space for storage of toiletries. A separate shower cubicle is also avaialble.

Kitchen & Living Areas:- stylish, well equipped kitchen/ diner with loch views, and all essential kitchen appliances and accessories. A separate utility area has a second wc, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The spacious living room is the perfect spot to relax, containing a large 6ft fabric and leather sofa and a 2 seater sofa, a TV, DVD, and French doors with views towards the sea loch.

Outside areas:- The cottage has is own grounds with BBQ area. A spacious patio area is to the rear of the cottage and a decked area is to the front accessible via the French doors from the lounge.
