Bilshay Farmhouse is a large beautiful thatched farmhouse set in a rural location, only a short distance from the market town of Bridport and the Jurassic Coast. It has recently been refurbished to create luxury accommodation with plenty of character.
Bilshay is a 4 bedroom, tastefully restored, thatched farmhouse with hot tub and games room and one of the most spectacular views in Dorset. A peaceful, rural location set in beautiful countryside in the hamlet of Dottery. Approximately 1.5 miles from the market town of Bridport with all amenities. Just a 10 minute drive to the nearest beaches.
All of our beds are zip & link beds, making it easy to suit individual requirements. Bedroom 1 with double bed & en-suite, Bedroom 2 with double bed, Bedroom 3 with double bed & en-suite, Bedroom 4 with 3 singles. We can also provide a Z bed & Cot.
There is a downstairs WC as well as a family bathroom on the first floor with free standing bath and separate shower, and 2 en-suite shower rooms.
The large fully equipped kitchen includes a range gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen/diner is open plan with seating for 10 and the dining area has an open fireplace.
The utility room has a freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer, hooks for coats and plenty of room for shoes & boots.
The Living Room has an Inglenook Fireplace and wood burning stove, TV and DVD player.
There is a large area downstairs with flag stone floors for coats, boots, wet dogs etc. Outside is a courtyard area where one of the stables has been converted into a games room. There are 4 stables available to rent at an extra cost for your horse.
There is a large garden with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, and a lovely area with hot tub and BBQ. There is also a games room.
We provide crisp white linen for all the beds, hand and bath towels are provided, also dressing gowns. Linen for the cot and z bed are not supplied. The cottage is cleaned and the linen is changed after every booking on our change over day, which is Friday.
