Luxurious and spacious, this impressive chapel conversion sits in a beautiful location, in southern Snowdonia. Capel Jerusalem has a fabulous open plan living area, superb kitchen, featuring granite worktops and wine cooler and 4 comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The chapel sleeps 10 guests (plus 2 on a bed settee).
Capel Jerusalem has 4 bedrooms on the ground floor: king size, double, twin and adult bunks, and all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. There is also an infra-red sauna on the ground floor. The upper floor has a superb open plan kitchen/diner/living space, featuring a baby grand piano. The lounge has an internet TV, surround sound system and music amp. The dining area has a projector, with VGA connection. The chapel is heated using eco-friendly solar panels and an air source heat pump, which provide hot water and underfloor heating throughout the property.
Outside, the chapel has a walled garden, with seating. There is a secure area to store bikes and unlimited on-street parking next to the chapel. A small barbecue is provided.
Capel Jerusalem is set on the edge of the friendly village of Abergynolwyn, which has a great local pub, The Railway Inn. The seaside towns of Tywyn, Aberdovey and Barmouth are a short drive away and the famous Tal-y-Llyn stream train runs from the village to the coast. The surrounding mountains, hills and waterfalls provide spectacular scenery. The area truly is a walkers' paradise, with some beautiful forest and waterfall walks from the chapel, the majestic Cadair Idris close by and access to miles of unspoilt beaches just 10-minutes' drive away. There are several attractions and activities in the area, including King Arthur's Labyrinth, Corris Craft Centre, mountain biking, galleries, golf, bird watching and horse riding.

Absolutely beautiful property!! by Kerry Nevin on October 5th 2017
Absolutely beautiful property!! Four generations of our family & friends stayed in both the Chapel and the Vestry for my dad's 60th Birthday. Sue was really helpful beforehand with recommendations for things to do/places to go which was greatly appreciated. There is a pub within staggering distance (The Railway Inn) and we also took the steam train into Tywyn and a drive up to Barmouth. A fabulous place that I would defintely recommend!!
