Brynhyfryd Cottage is a deceptively spacious former farmworker's dwelling situated on the owners' smallholding. The cottage has been sympathetically restored to retain many of its original features such as beams and the original fireplace which now houses a wood burning stove with adjacent bread oven, making the cottage extremely cosy. The thick stone walls keep it warm on the coldest of days and cool during the summer months. The cottage is very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave etc. Freeview TV and DVD player, radio/CD player with a selection of DVDs and CDs; free WiFi. The enclosed garden makes it safe for children and pets and guests are also welcome to use part of the farm to exercise their dogs. The garden is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. The cottage is situated on a very quiet lane within walking distance of the village where the Brunant Arms is open daily, serves excellent food and welcomes dogs. Caio Forest is also nearby making it an ideal location for walkers, cyclists and horseriders. There is a garage/newsagent/shop in the nearby village of Crugybar which is open daily. The pretty coastal town of Aberaeron is about 30 minutes' drive away and there is easy access to the endless sandy beaches on the Cardigan coast. All electricity, bed linen and towels and a supply of logs/kindling etc included. Welcome pack of Welsh produce on arrival. Up to two well-behaved pets welcome. The cottage ideally sleeps 4 people in the eaves' bedrooms and there is also a double sofa bed downstairs. Downstairs shower room. Cot and high chair also available.
