A delightful, quirky cottage with a wood-burning stove, located on an idyllic, secluded organic dairy farm near Newcastle Emlyn, west Wales. Only 30 minutes from the wonderful beaches of Cardigan Bay it is the perfect rural, dog-friendly retreat from the bustle of city life.

Penyrallt Fach is a pretty cottage sleeping up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms.
The cottage has a well-equipped open-plan kitchen-sitting room with a large farmhouse table & two comfortable sofas to curl up in by the wood-burning stove. A large selection of books & dvds is provided for evening entertainment after days spent on the beach or exploring the countryside. There is no TV reception but there is free WiFi.
On arrival guests will find a fresh home-baked cake and flowers on the table.
In the kitchen there is an electric cooker, micro-wave oven, fridge, toaster & electric kettle.
All necessary china, glass, cutlery & utensils etc. are provided as well as tea-towels & basic household items.
There are two bedrooms, a double & a twin, each simply & attractively furnished with luxurious organic wool duvets & Welsh wool counterpanes on each bed.
The bathroom has a bath, washbasin, loo, heated towel-rail & washing machine.
All bedlinen, towels, fuel, electricity (& central heating, 1st October-1st May) & WiFi access are included in the price.
Experience the real countryside with woods & fields to explore, clear night skies for star-gazing, hear the owls & watch the bats flying at dusk.
The cottage is an ideal base from which to discover the beauties of west Wales. The All Wales Coast Path & the superb beaches of Cardigan Bay are only a short drive away. There are many opportunities for good walking & visiting the fascinating historic sites including many castles in the area as well as the attractive small market towns & villages of the lovely Teifi Valley which runs from the open moorland of the Cambrian mountains down to the lush farmland near Cardigan.
Brechfa Forest with its renowned mountain biking tracks is nearby.
Mountain biking, pony trekking, canoeing & fishing are all available in the area and there are a number of dog-friendly pubs & attractions including the national Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Historic Garden, Llanerchaeron National Trust House, Newton House in Dynevor Park & Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mines.
Short or long breaks, weekends or mid-week are available out of school holidays from £195 3 nights (full weeks only during school holidays, July, August, Christmas & New Year).
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome @ £15 each.
The cottage is not suitable for children under 5 years old.
