The cottage is set in a rural location but close to wonderful walks and scenery. The cottage owners were extremely helpful and friendly - particularly the welcome pack (including fresh scones!). In short it was everything we had hoped for, if not better.

Very clean, comfortable and in a good location by Both-like-travelling on July 11th 2012
The owners were very friendly and included extra little touches - fresh scones and butter as we arrived, very useful OS maps. Everywhere was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedroom was light and airy with a very comfortable bed. Located along a quiet lane with lovely gardens, and views of surrounding hills. We found walks from the cottage and lots of options a short drive away. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The property was set in a great location and our hosts were lovely!
by Miss Clifford-Walsh on September 20th 2010
Our hostess had thought of absolutely everything in the kitchen with lots of nice little touches. It felt very welcoming with jam, fruit bread, butter and a bottle of wine in the kitchen. I really loved the chickens and the sheep at the end of the garden. The family was very approachable and yet totally non intrusive.
