Warmington House in Camelford Built was the late 17th century and has enjoyed a fair share of distinguished owners right through to the present day (a, now retired, world famous ballet dancer) who has extensively and lovingly restored the house to its former glory.
Step through the front door to find two stylish and cosy living rooms to either side, both having woodburners You sense the history and unique feeling of the house the moment you enter with a sitting room either side, both with woodburners. To one side is a proper family room with large comfortable sofas. The other will appeal to the young and young at heart, having a Playstation, Wii and other games to happily wile away an evening with friends or siblings.
Located between the sitting room and the kitchen is a truly impressive dining room with a long dining table comfortably seating at least 12 guests. Beyond this lie a well-equipped kitchin and separate utility room. On the first and second floors are six individually styled bedrooms, all with en-suite bedrooms.
On warm days and evenings, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace to the rear of the house which is equipped with outdoor tables and chairs together with a gas BBQ.
Warmington House in Camelford is tucked away just off the main street in Camelford within easy walking distance of the shops, pubs and restaurants in the centre of town. Enjoy pleasant riverside with the children and/or the dogs in the nearby walk.
Travel a handful of miles out of Camelford to explore Bodmin Moor, to visit Jamaica Inn or enjoy views from the top of Rough Tor or Brown Willy, two of the highest point in Cornwall.
Other resorts such as Padstow, Newquay, Mevagissey and Looe are also within easy reach, while a day out visiting the Eden Project near St. Austell is an absolute must – whatever the weather.
