Great location in Fowey. The cottage is so lovely, we were very tempted to stay in all week! Great linens, well stocked kitchen and a fabulous bath. Taking your book to the window seat in the bedroom is a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Wonderful cottage and great location by Joanne P. on February 4th 2016

The cottage is exactly as the photographs show, very beautiful, and very comfortable and cosy. A lot of thought has gone into the cottage, lots of cosy throws, comfy cushions, and the coffee machine was a blessing for our early starts with a little baby. The travel cot, highchair and baby bath were also a real plus as with the baby and two dogs we could not have jammed more in the car! Always warm, hot water on demand, and comfy beds. And the cream tea and milk on arrival were a lovely touch - thank you. Location was perfect, you really are so perfectly positioned to explore. The weather was dreadful but we still managed some beautiful walks and a few ferry trips. Tracey provides so much useful information on things to do, it actually made us quite lazy in our own research! Have already recommended and will look to return. Thanks for a lovely stay.

"A beautiful property" by D & M Strack on April 25th 2015

We spent 4 nights in this delightful cottage in Fowey. Everything about the cottage was exactly as we had read on the website. The attention to detail was amazing. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you would want. When choosing where would stay we were unsure which seaside village to choose. We are so glad we chose Fowey. Fowey is a delightful village and we would certainly recommend The Sea Swallow to any fellow New Zealanders travelling to Cornwall. We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful cottage.

Arrived for a weekend away in January with 2 discerning friends. Before we arrived, we received some wonderful tips for things to do in Cornwall which were beautifully written and so the romance began... The cottage was well placed, very near the front and shops/eateries. It was so beautifully furnished and presented we instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed the serenity it offered. We spent a good half hour just walking about saying to each other 'and have you seen this pot/mirror/cupboard/bedlinen - it's gorgeous'. Little touches like fab coffee maker, Cornish Cider stash, bath robes, the pre-loaded ipod made it so lovely we didn't want to go out. My top tips for a Sea Swallow stay: bring enough nibbles/plonk/bread n cheese to keep you going for a few nights, enjoy lazy mornings, lovely walks, fab shops and beachcombing in the day and get back early for a bath, G&T and a read of the paper. In short, Me: 'I wonder if I could send for the children in about a week'; Val 'I'm staying'; Sid 'It's Lush'. Oh, and Fowey's not bad either.

FABULOUS TWO WEEK STAY IN THIS GLORIOUS HAVEN! by Uta H. on July 19th 2014

BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE IN A GREAT LOCATION by Anon. on July 12th 2014

Great little cottage right in the heart of Fowey, which is a splendid village on the south coast. There are plenty of things to do, including kayaking up the river and the Eden project and Lost gardens of Heligan are not too far away at all. The cottage itself has 2 big bedrooms and a really well stocked kitchen. Everything was beautifully arranged and the design was top notch. Would definitely recommend visiting Fowey and staying at the Sea Swallow. Tracey is very helpful and provdes a great guide to Fowey and the surrounding areas with plent of handy tips on where to go.
