This five-bedroom child-friendly cottage is set amongst beautiful woodlands on a high promontory overlooking the lake and the town.

It features a spacious ground-floor layout with a bright and cheery entrance hall, a snug area with a flat-screen TV, a cosy sitting room with a flat-screen TV, a modern woodburning stove and access to the deck with a luxurious hot tub and views across the picturesque grounds. The fully fitted kitchen with an open-plan dining area provides ample space to prepare home-cooked meals for your party. A short walk takes guests down to the lake ferry, where one can cruise to the far shores of Hawkshead. Adventurous guests can partake in parasailing, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities, and golfers can play a round at the challenging Windermere Golf Club. Bowness-on-Windermere offers a range of amenities in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
