Property Details

The Old Granary near Barnstaple in north Devon has its own unique character, retaining many exposed beams, originally the corn was stored and ground here. It has a 4 star Visit Britain grading, and we have just gained a Silver award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

This lovely cottage is spacious and furnished to a high standard to ensure your comfort. There is central heating throughout. Just relax, unwind in front of the wood burner. Features include a high wooden ceiling with French windows opening onto the courtyard, a kitchen with a lovely old pine table for those family occasions. Free WI-FI a TV, DVD and plenty of games to play, we ensure you have all the home comforts. The children can play safely in the playroom, you can snuggle up with a book a hot chocolate or glass of wine.

Downstairs also includes a fully fitted kitchen with all your home comforts, separate toilet and sink and two bedrooms: a bunk bed room for John Deere tractor fans and a floral double room with views over the courtyard and vegetable garden.

Upstairs a large and airy double room with en-suite shower and toilet, there is space for a cot. Family bathroom with bath and separate shower, basin and toilet also a twin bedroom with a fitted wardrobe.

Also available: stair gates, cots and high chairs.

All linen and towels are included along with the electric and logs.

Activities on the farm include collecting eggs, FREE pony rides, walking the goats and watching the cows milking.
