There has been a significant amount of skill, intelligence and thought that has gone into the decoration and furnishing of this property. The end result is quirky, unique, individual and fun. In fact, if you are to summarise Fishlegs into just one word, it would be ‘fun’.
There are numerous quirky and yet stylish fittings throughout, from the signs above the doors that say ‘ouch’ and ‘duck’, to the intelligent way that stonework has been exposed, fire wood gets stored and the ambient lighting is placed. There are three bedrooms at Fishlegs comprising: * The master bedroom is on the first floor and is stylishly furnished complete with fitted wardrobes, TV and a double bed. There are views from the master bedroom over to Brixham harbour and its mix of colourful trawlers and pleasure boats. BEAUTIFUL AND STUNNING COTTAGE + FIZZ! by Submitted by Claire Churchill, Poole on 12/09/2016 on March 30th 2017
Fishlegs cottage was absolutely beautiful, the interior design was stunning with so much attention to detail. We also had a bottle of fizz from the owners on arrival. The views from the terrace are amazing and we enjoyed sitting out each morning and evening watching the boats come in and go out of the harbour. Brixham itself is a vibrant little harbour with some lovely little boutique shops and nice eateries and cafes and it only takes 20 mins by bus to get to the bigger Paignton for more shops, cinema, zoo and pier. Would recommend one of the boat trips from the harbour and of course a walk up to Berry Head. Just a lovely holiday all round, cottage and town highly recommended!
