Swallows at Falkedon is in a quiet country location within walking distance of the village of Spreyton which has a community shop and the Tom Cobley Tavern ? Spreyton being the village from which he began his ride to Widecombe. Nearby are National Trust properties of Castle Drogo and the intriguing Finch Foundary.
The apartment is approached via its own entrance up some stone steps from the gravel yard where there is plenty of space to park cars and bikes.
The property sleeps two people in spacious accommodation. It has a bedroom with a super king size bed which looks out over the pretty garden with a TV, dressing table and storage space. The living room which also looks out over the garden has three sofas, Freeview TV, DVD player CD/DAB radio, books and maps.
A large bathroom contains a separate shower, bidet, toilet and double bath, complimentary toiletries.
Kitchen/diner with modern appliances include a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, slow cooker and other utensils to ensure you have a comfortable stay.
Quality duvet, pillows, cotton laundry and generously sized bathroom towels and dressing gowns are provided free of charge.
Guests are greeted with a welcome hamper with all the basics for a quick snack including teas, coffee, bread, milk, fresh eggs from our hens, homemade fruit cake and fresh flowers.
