The house, which is tastefully decorated throughout can comfortably accommodate up to nine guests for self-catering holidays in the heart of Devon and is both family and dog friendly.
On the ground floor of the property there are two good sized sitting rooms, both with comfy sofas and wood-burning stoves. There is also a nice dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with electric range, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.
All four bedrooms are located on the first floor of the house and include two doubles with zip and link beds, )which allows them to also be made up as twin bedrooms depending on guest requirements), a pretty single bedroom and a spacious double with king size bed. All four bedrooms share the two family bathrooms, one of which has a bath with overhead shower, the other just a shower. Two additional guests can be accommodated on the double sofa bed located in the large sitting room.
To the rear of the property there is a pretty terrace, which is fully enclosed and features outdoor furniture for alfresco dinners and a BBQ.
When staying at Kings Arms House there are plenty of places to visit, including the city of Exeter where you can browse the large range of shops, watch the Exeter Chiefs play rugby or delve into the history of the city by discovering its underground passages.
Both the north and south Devon coast are home to some beautiful beaches and pretty seaside villages from Sidmouth to Saunton. As the house is located in a lovely central location it is an easy drive to either coastline.
Within the town of Chulmleigh there are several places to have a meal out, as well as a butcher, a baker and a small convenience store selling day to day essentials (and candlesticks). Chulmleigh?s golf course, which guests are welcome to use without being a member, is within walking distance of Kings Arms House.
