A wonderful place to stay, lots to do and a great adventure around the nature trails. Well equipped house and great games room . We’ve just had a brilliant week at the barn over new year and would highly recommend

Ecofarm is wonderful
August 23rd 2019
The ecofarm is wonderful. The inside is beautiful with nice materials, very quiet, clean, spacious and natural. We had a fabulous holliday :-) ! The children also enjoyed it a lot. The trecks close to the farm are beautiful. There are many beautiful places to visit not too far Buckland abbey, Bude, Dartmore, Newquay

We have just had a fantastic week and have made ourselves thoroughly at home here. The house is beautiful. Clean, well equipped, perfect for 10 of us to eat together which isn’t always easy to find. All the bedrooms have a lovely feel to them. And the communal areas. The outdoor space is great. We probably didn’t use it as much as we could have done because we were too busy going to the beach and having days out but we did make the most of the table tennis table. If we came again I would think about a guided nature walk because when we were talking to Elaine at the end of our stay she told us of bat poo and barn owl breathing and I could have definitely learnt a lot more! We did explore some local trails, saw deer and lots of bats and picked and ate a lot of juicey blackberries. Would thoroughly recommend. And wish we were still there!

Fantastic host. Beautiful cottage. Plenty of space for us all. Better equipped kitchen than we have at home! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone - had a lovely week away
Amazing place to stay

Amazing place to stay with so much to do. The location is stunning and the barn was more than perfect, it was spotless and had a lovely welcome pack and everything we could need was there. The nature trails were brilliant and some special memories were made. We would definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

Excellent accommodation which was ideal for our family of 11. Superb country location which really helps you to appreciate the nature around. (Holsworthy with a Waitrose is only 5-10 minutes away) Elaine is passionate about environmental issues and the development of wildlife around the accommodation which resonated with our family. Thank you, Elaine, for a wonderful weekend which was so important for our family
fantastic place for a group break

Fantastic place for a group break. The building is stunning, very cosy, comfortable and in a great area. There are footpaths to explore if you fancy a stroll and a games room at the property. All bedrooms of a good size, especially the two upstairs. We loved the fire in the lounge, made the evening very warm and cosy. Kitchen is of a good size and has a large dining table for 10.
FANTASTIC AND FULL OF CHARACTER
February 10th 2017
We stayed at stone barn in September for a weekend getaway with the family to celebrate my sisters 40th. The barn itself is fantastic, full of character, well maintained and beautifully presented. It has a wonderful setting in amongst the countryside with some lovely walks in the nature trails which the kids loved. Elaine and Dick are around if you need them (in my case jump starting my car at 10pm - absolutely no bother to them and we were eternally grateful) but you are made to feel like the barn is yours for the time you are there. I would recommend this to anyone if you are looking for a weekend away with family or just somewhere to go to get away from everything: it's such a relaxing place to be.
