Braefoot cottage is part of the Lower Aylescott holiday cottage complex, with five other cottages on site, it sits in an idyllic valley surrounded by lovely, rolling North Devon countryside. Although it feels very rural you are only a few miles from the award winning beach at Woolacombe and Puttsborough. The cottage is just outside the pretty village West Down which has a good pub and village shop. The cottage is perfectly placed to explore the North Devon area, with the lively seaside towns of Ilfracombe and Woolacombe only a short drive away and the popular villages of Braunton and Croyde also very near. All theses towns and villages have great pubs and restaurants and there are good local places to take the kids, like combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo.
The cottage has shared access to lovely grounds as well as a large children's play area and a fishing lake. The cottage has 2 bedrooms upstairs, at the end of a corridor is a good size double bedroom and the twin is immediately outside that and the newly refurbished bathroom is next to the twin room and has a bathe with overhead shower, sink and wc. The downstairs living area is open plan with a comfortable lounge with leather sofas plus a TV with Freeview and a DVD. . The dining area has a pine table and chairs for 4 guests and there is a well equipped kitchen with everything you need for family cooking.The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge-freezer, Dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The living area has direct access to the outside courtyard, ideal for some alfesco dining.
