EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED by Karl Saunders, Skipton, 03/07/2016 on December 21st 2016

We had a great time staying at the boathouse in Kingsbridge for our first family holiday. The location was great, next to the river estuary and with stunning views over the south Devon countryside. Sofia (aged 7 months) loved the boathouse as soon as we arrived there and was able to crawl around easily in the safe and cosy lounge area. The pub next door had a great range of drinks and was lively and welcoming. The outside tables were vacated soon after closing time and noise wasn't a problem for us. During the week it was generally very quite, exactly what we needed. Kingsbridge village has a great range of independent shops including a butchers, fishmonger, fruit and veg store, wine store and deli. There're also two large supermarkets which came in handy. The local area is beautiful with some fantastic beaches only a few miles away - Bantham and Hope Cove both particularly memorable. All in all a great UK holiday and highly recommended.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE! by John Hartnol, Farnborough on 30/11/2016 on December 21st 2016

Beautiful place! The view from the spacious balcony over the river is breath-taking! Enjoyed eating at pub next door.
