Poocks Cottage does not come with a TV, but a variety of books, games, and jigsaw puzzles are provided for your amusement.
The first floor of this child-friendly cottage includes three bedrooms, including a master with a double bed, as well as a twin and single room, and the family bathroom.
The property has a private enclosed garden to the rear with table and chairs to dine al fresco whilst enjoying expansive views of the surrounding hills.
The Doone Valley is a fabulous area for walking, with the Coleridge Way and Samaritans Way South West trails easily accessible nearby. Oare consists of the hamlet of Oareford and the village of Culbone with its 15th-century Church of St. Mary, whilst across the Malmsmead Bridge find the Lorna Doone Arms licensed inn.
The seaside village of Porlock is approximately five miles away with its long pebble and rock beach popular for summer bathing, winter surfing, and excellent angling.
