The Chalet, Saunton, offers the ultimate in luxury beach accommodation and The Penthouse is the jewel in the crown with incredible panoramic views across Saunton Sands beach and the sea beyond across the bay to Hartland. The Penthouse has a lovely private balcony where guests can sit and relax and feel privileged knowing that they have the best apartment with the best views anywhere in the UK. Inside the Penthouse is laid out to open plan living area, with a lounge/ kitchen/dining area all discreetly designed so guests can cook, eat or simply relax in their own space. The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and even a wine cooler.The dining area is tucked away in the corner but has easy access to the kitchen and has stylish table and chairs for 4. The whole of the right hand side of the top floor is set out as a very comfortable lounge with chairs and coffee tables positioned to best enjoy the view and the far end has a corner sofa and large TV and DVD plus music system and a cosy wood burner with ample logs supplied. The Penthouse enjoys under-floor heating throughout. The two bedrooms are both spacious and en-suite one with walk-in shower, wc and sink the other has a wc and sink plus a roll-top bath in the master bedroom along with the king-size bed. The other double can be split into two single beds if required.

The Chalet accepts dogs in apartments 1,2,3 and 4 and there is plenty of lawned garden outside to let the dog out, although they would need to be attended. The Chalet has direct access to the beach below and outside showers and board racks to store and dry boards and wet-suits.

The Chalet is perfectly situated to enjoy the delights of North Devon, with incredible beaches with miles of golden sand all along the coastline. Apart from having 3 miles of Saunton Sands right in front of you, the trendy, surf village and it's pretty beach is just around the headland. Croyde has loads of great pubs and restaurants like The Thatch which serves good food and beer and has live music most nights.

The lively seaside resorts of Woolacombe and Ilfracombe with yet more amazing beaches are just along the coast.The wilds of Exmoor are only a 20 minute drive away.
