Property Details

Stable Cottage has a unique charm all of it's own, combining elegance and style with space and comfort. Not only does the cottage itself offer guests somewhere very special to stay but as it is situated within the grounds of the Highbullen Country Club Hotel, guests also have access to the incredible leisure facilities at Highbullen.

The cottage has 3 large double bedrooms that can also be made into twin beds. Four additional guests can be accommodated either on a sofa bed in the lounge or in twin beds on the cosy mezzanine floor.

The living area is all open plan with one end of the room set as a lovely, comfortable lounge area with two large sofas and two comfy arm-chairs where you can relax and watch the wide-screen TV. Guests can access a large terrace from the lounge where they can enjoy stunning views across the lovely Devon countryside and have some great evening meals gazing up at the stars, no light abuse here.

Beyond the lounge is the dining area which has a large pine table and 10 comfortable chairs.

The kitchen is very large and offers guests everything they need to cater for large family gatherings.

Whilst the cottage is stunning the real beauty of Stables Cottage is the added benefit of being able to enjoy the amazing leisure facilities at Highbullen. The 25m indoor heated pool and modern gym, jacuzzi and Sauna are all free to guests at Stables Cottage. The 6 brand new tennis courts and the 18 hole golf course can be used at discounted rates. There is also fishing on the river and clay pigeon shooting available.

If you finally decide to venture outside the estate you can visit the stunning North Devon beaches at Saunton Sands or Westward Ho! or take a long walk on Exmoor all only a 30 minute drive away.
