Set within Dartmoor National Park and close to Lydford Gorge, the surrounding area around Whitelady House is quite exceptional. The pet friendly house itself has beautiful gardens with hot-tub and gas BBQ. You can walk out onto the moor or visit the Gorge within a few minutes from the house. There is a croquet-lawn and table-tennis table, in a landscaped south facing garden.
The house has 6 bedrooms, 3 en-suite, 2 king size bedrooms and 4 twins, all individually designed and full of unique features and authentic rustic charm.
Downstairs there is a large drawing room with Inglenook fireplace and wood-burner and comfy sofas to relax after a long day on the moor. There is a separate lounge with wood-burner, sofa and large TV and DVD and Nintendo Wii and I-pod docking station. There is a lovely dinning room with bespoke designed oak table for 14 and a very well equipped kitchen, with huge American fridge/freezer with ice-maker. The kitchen has everything you need for luxury dinning. The owners also offer catered meals and catering for special occasions, like anniversaries and birthdays as well as cooking courses for a special weekend away.
