Property Details

Cornborough Coombe is tucked away in peaceful North Devon countryside close to the coast at Westward Ho! It's a real hidden treasure. Cornborough's pink facade reflects the interior style, full of old world style and modern decor to keep everyone happy.

The dog and family friendly house is wonderfully spacious both inside and out with large rooms downstairs for entertaining and a gorgeous garden complete with patio and children's play area.

Downstairs you will find a huge, open kitchen, with a large oak table that can seat up to 12, and an adjoining utility room. The lounge has comfy sofas and chairs, as well as a handy log-burner. Off the lounge you will find a well-equipped games room, with table football, an XBox, a large TV and loads of games to keep the kids amused.

Choose between the main staircase or period back stairs that lead to the first floor where you will find four stunning bedrooms, two en-suite with large king-size beds, a twin and a bunk room. There is also a small children's play room and a family bathroom with bath.

The fifth bedroom is located in the adjoining annex and is a good sized twin. Also, within the annex is a kitchen, and a wet room style bathroom. Everything within the annex has been designed with wheelchair users in mind.

Cornborough Coombe is located just a mile from Westward Ho! which is home to a wonderful beach backed by a pebble ridge. In the village you will find several places to eat, including The Pier House, and a few good shops. There is also a surf school at the beach for those looking to learn or improve their surfing skills. Alternatively, the award winning Pig on the Hill pub is located just up the road from the house and within easy walking distance.

Other places worth visiting include the market town of Barnstaple, Exmoor National Park and Ilfracombe. There are also several other beaches nearby such as Woolacombe and Croyde. The North Cornwall coastline and Dartmoor can also be easily reached from Cornborough and provide an excellent day out for all the family. Nearby attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor.

Cornborough really is a home for all whether you are a large family or a group of friends. It is also a great place to stay no matter what the season or occasion.
