The Old Manor sits within 2-acres of gardens, including a tennis court, terrace, vegetable garden and woodland walks and is approached by an impressive carriage drive.
Step through the grand old oak doors into the hall, and shed outdoor gear in the boot room and step into a welcoming snug with comfortable leather sofas facing a magnificent fireplace.
The elegant dining room table can accommodate up to 18 guests around two tables (there's room for a further 6 at the kitchen table (perfect for kids wanting their own table together).
The sunny drawing room has a grand working fireplace with big 'send-you-to-sleep' sofas, arm chairs and a large TV with Sky.
The large family kitchen is very well equipped with integrated appliances including an American fridge freezer, a 4-oven Aga (there's an electric oven with induction hob too), plus two dishwashers and an expresso coffee machine.
There are two floors of bedrooms upstairs mainly sleeping 2 with one single bedroom. Some of the bedrooms have zip and link beds allowing them to be used as doubles or twins. The rooms are all stylishly furnished and centrally heated, with one room having underfloor heating.
A games room is located in a separate cottage in the garden and will appeal to the young and young at heart with facilities including pool, table tennis, air hockey, back gammon and other board games. It also houses equipment for games of rounders, hockey and badminton on the lawns.
There is a hot tub in the garden which should be booked in advance. There is a small charge of £75 for use of this facility. Wander through the garden and discover the lavender-fringed terrace which has a luxury swing set plus outdoor dining facilities, allowing up to 22 guests to take lunch, or dinners under the stars together on balmy summer evenings.
Other activities can be arranged in advance, such as shooting, archery, craft and dance classes. Just ask us for further information and we will be happy to assist you.
