EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THIS COTTAGE by John Goodfellow, Marlborough, July 2016 on November 2nd 2016

My Brother and me were extremely pleased with Applebee Cottage. All the rooms were clean and very well decorated. The kitchen had every item you would need and was very well laid out. While the cottage didn't have a garden however it did have plenty of charm inside and it did have everything else to ensure for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. It was also perfectly located for travelling to all the famous places of interest in and around Dorset. My brother is partially disabled and the cottage had easy access to all the rooms. The stairs was open and had a good width. I would definitely stay there again, as overall is was excellent value for money. The owners also very kindly posted an item that we forgot to pack back to our home address.

AN EXCELLENT 5-DAY BREAK by John Stones, Bath, July 2017 on November 2nd 2016

We had a 5 day break here recently and found the cottage and the area excellent. The cleanliness and the facilities were very good and the welcome pack was unexpected but very much appreciated. Everything worked and the bed especially was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful and a dishwasher. Very strong signal on the wifi. The position is great, a short walk to the bus station if needed and about a 5 minute walk to the main town including a Waitrose and many independent shops and great pubs, most of which have some live music once a week. It's about 1/2 hour walk to West Bay where Broadchurch was filmed and an interesting area with loads to do.
