Indulge in the comfort of our large bedroom, complete with zip-and-link beds that can be set up as one king-size or two single beds. For families, a z-bed can be added for a small child. The bedroom also features a luxury dressing area and an en suite bathroom. We provide crisp white linen, fluffy towels, and dressing gowns for that extra touch of luxury.
It has a perfect country kitchen fully equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave, plenty of storage space, and a good selection of kitchen utensils and crockery.
The spacious lounge has an inglenook fireplace, a wood-burning stove, comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and a DVD player. There is also a free wi-fi connection. The dining table seats four, perfect for a romantic meal, or we can provide catering for a special treat.
Step into our terraced garden, a tranquil oasis with a cobblestone patio, barbecue, table and chairs. It's the perfect spot for privacy and al fresco dining in the summer, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Duck Street cottage is located opposite another of our properties, the Old Post Office cottage, so if you are planning a break with other people, you could book both together at a special rate.
Just 3 miles from the market town of Bridport, everything is within easy reach. The town is renowned for its variety of pubs and eateries. Bridport has a variety of supermarkets, shops and a street market held every Wednesday and Saturday; there is also a Vintage Market held on the last Sunday of every month.
The scenery in this area of the world is undeniably stunning, and the Jurassic coast is just 5 miles away, where there are a variety of beaches, villages and towns to visit during your stay.

Duck Street cottage is a must for two (and pooch)
Whilst looking online for somewhere to stay in the lovely county of Dorset we stumbled across the delightful Duck street cottage. The cottage is set in the picturesque village of Symondsbury which is within walking distance to Bridport. The beach is a 5 minute car ride away and there are many beautiful walks to enjoy, there is also a welcoming village pub which has good food on the menu. What made the holiday for us was Duck street cottage itself, whatever we did or wherever we visited each day we looked forward to returning to this beautiful little cottage. Thank you for providing everything (and more) a guest could need, thank you for the welcome hamper, thank you for allowing dogs and thank you for Duck street Cottage.
