If you are seeking a cottage in an area with breath-taking views across some of Dorset's countryside we recommend a holiday at Stables Cottage. The cottage overlooks valleys and onto the Jurassic Coast and is surrounded by rugged countryside. Stables Cottage is a tastefully designed stable conversion which retains some of the original features. The property is hidden away from the main farmhouse and affords its own privacy. There is a large patio which is a nice little sun trap for an afternoon snooze. The surrounding countryside with its small pockets of wooded areas makes for an enchanting natural habitat. For the nature lovers there are wonderful walks to explore where you are likely to meet the odd fox, deer, numerous wild birds and of course the cheeky rabbits. Winterbourne Abbas village is approximately 1.5 miles away and offers a good pub with a varied menu and a village store/garage.

Lovely cottage, very secluded with superb views. It had everything we needed, and was in a good location to explore west Dorset.
