Just a short stroll takes you past the mill pond where the local ducks congregate, to the Springhead Pub which offers local ales, chilled wine and a varied menu. A shop is also within walking distance and the village is surrounded by excellent country walks for those who like to ramble.
Ideally situated, the village is just a couple of miles from the nearest beach at Bowleaze Cove with the main resort beach and the town centre of Weymouth another mile further on. A short drive in the other direction gives access to the world Heritage sites of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove in addition to attractions such as Monkey World and the Tank Museum.
