With a traditional village green and a superb village pub as your playground, there is plenty to love about a holiday or short break with the family or friends in The Bledington Barn, a luxuriously refurbished three-bedroom Cotswold eco cottage. This 300-year old barn has been totally renovated, restoring and recycling as many of its original fittings as possible (the family bathroom towel rail was once the old hay loft ladder). It is now to a luxuriously furnished spacious holiday cottage enjoying complete privacy in the heart of a picturesque Cotswold Village.

Located in the grounds of the original farmhouse, this gloriously light and spacious holiday cottage has a huge double-height open plan living area on the ground floor. Living and dining areas contain 3-seater sofas, a pair of invitingly comfortable armchairs, a music system and a dining table for 8. Underfloor heating on the ground floor comes courtesy of a wood pellet boiler, ensuring snug and warm holidays in the cooler months of the year.

The kitchen is fabulously well-equipped with Gaggenau appliances including a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle and a toaster – all making it easy to prepare and serve delicious meals from big breakfasts to culinary feasts.

Also on the ground floor is:

• A dedicated laundry space with washing machine and tumble drier enabling clothing muddied by Cotswold walks to be quickly washed and dried overnight even in winter.

• A cloak room with a superb antique wooden throne loo.

The Barn’s three bedrooms are all on the first floor and comprise:

• Master bedroom with a King-size double bed, en-suite bathroom having a shower, sink and loo.

• Second bedroom with zip and link beds allowing it to be used a a double or twin-bedded room according to your requirements.

• Third bedroom has a character sleigh bed with a pull-out trundle bed for use either as a single or twin bedroom.

There is also a family bathroom on this floor with a bath and shower as well as twin Corian sinks and a loo.

Externally, guests at The Barn, enjoy use of their own private terrace which has a gas-fired BBQ for starlit dinners on balmy summer evenings.

Small-medium size dogs are welcome at The Bledington Barn (£30 per dog per booking), provided they live on the ground floor only.

Wi-Fi, cable TV and all utilities are included in the price.

A cot and high chair are provided.

The welcome pack contains food sourced from Daylesford Organic Farm + Prosecco!

A short hop and a skip from this luxury eco cottage is the village green – a focus for village fetes and other rural life activities. It’s perfect for picnics: there’s a stream for paddling and catching tadpoles and, in summer months, the irresistible temptation in the guise of an ice cream hut. Alternatively, there’s a splendid pub offering appropriate indoor hospitality for those with an eye for a fine wine, good ale and a healthy menu.
