  • "We had a very enjoyable stay, perfect for a family get together and celebrate a special birthday."

We were blessed with sunny weather every day which we appreciated but did create a small problem that has been highlighted by others in that there is a lack of adequate curtains/ blinds in the living room and only thin blinds in the bedrooms. Would I book here again?... definitely, wouldn't hesitate.

  • "We had a wonderful Christmas break staying at the Chapel House!"

The property was very spacious, clean, tidy and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with more than enough crockery/cutlery for 11 people having Christmas dinner. The bedrooms were very comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water in the showers for the 7 of us staying there. We can highly recommend the Chapel House and we look forward to a return visit.

  • "Chapel House is a large family property with lots of space , as a family we like to cook, it was nice to have large pans and dishes to use, lots of cutlery, plates etc."

Lovely large kitchen for family to get together would have liked blinds at the windows . Good size bedrooms , large lounge, the lounge would benefit with either blinds or curtains as no privacy in the dark evenings and would make it more homely . The table tennis was used on a daily basic and was lots of fun .

Perfect for our multi-generational family. Comfy, clean , great facilities and everything you need. Kitchen area and games room are perfect entertaining spaces. We had glorious weather so the bi-fold doors were wide open to spill out onto the patio and enjoy the beautiful garden. The house is large enough that you never feel ok top of each other and there is plenty of space. Just perfect, we enjoyed every second!

The kitchen was huge with a very practical island in the middle and all the appliances, crockery etc. were of a high quality. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were all very good. Lovely garden with outdoor furniture. The house was more than big enough to house 12 people and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there and on the beautiful island of Anglesey. Thank you.

If I'm not happy with a property I don't unpack. I couldn't wait to get my clothes in the wardrobe and have a soak in the bath. Home form home. We were a family group celebrating my 60th my treat to everyone. We all enjoyed cooking in our turn in the spacious kitchen home from home. I loved that there was a double oven and plenty of crockery, utensils and lovely glasses like we would have at home. We sat round the centre island for drinks. The table was big enough for all the family to sit round including the baby. We had such fun listening to music, playing games, playing and watching table tennis. The guys had their snug for the football and the living room was cosy and comfortable for us all to watch the last Happy Valley. Some cottages there is no comfy sofas or soft furnishings this property was really cosy and comfortable. It was a safe property for the Grandchildren aged 3. 3/4 and 11 months. The family stayed downstairs so they didn't disturb us feeds in the night. We brought one old dog with us who loved the garden, it was ideal for him to be walked on the lead. The puppies were left at home it might have not been ideal for them. The views of the fields and horses were breath taking from the windows in the sunny warm lounge. We all have log burners at home which is always a part of our holidays to light the fire which was part of the ambiance but the property was warm. The setting is peaceful we all relaxed. My husband is a man of few words as we drove away he said it was a great weekend. We all loved the Chapel and would visit again. Thank you it was fabulous.

There was a group of 10 of us and we all had plenty of room. The house is great for group gatherings (when we’re all allowed again!) and the large kitchen is a real communal hub. The house is well appointed and we all made use of the garden and the indoor table tennis table. There was also plenty of parking space for our 7 cars. The house was on a lovely part of Anglesey, in a very peaceful location. It was ideal for walking and exploring locally as well as only being 20 mins from the racing circuit (our reason for visiting). We can’t wait to return to the island, it’s a really lovely place to visit. We’d also definitely consider booking the house again. Big thanks to the owners for the clear information and frequent communication.

You do need transport but it provides a good base to get out each day, We visited Snowdonia, Llandudnao, Anglesey beaches and had plenty of internal and external space to play at the house. A knife sharpener would have been useful, we managed without though.

The beach was about 3 miles away My family and I stayed there for an Easter break and to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday My mum is disabled so the down stairs bedroom was an asset however the main lounge was upstairs so she struggled on the first night to get up there so we all just stayed downstairs in the kitchen, games room, snug and garden, for most nights which was very comfortable with comfy chairs We couldn’t find any sharp knives for cutting bread and the roast or utensils e.g ladle, spatcheler for eggs but we managed and it wasn’t really a deal breaker The beds were comfortable and the house was immaculate The owners allowed us to hire a hot tub too which was fab I would definitely recommend The Chapel House it’s an amazing house in a quaint little village The owners were down for the weekend too and were next door in the old school house. they were so lovely and helpful but didn’t encroach on our stay The table tennis was loads of fun and a great asset to the house There are 4 bathrooms in the house so never struggled in that department Overall a fantastic holiday away in the countryside with beaches and restaurants close by

  • "We had a fabulous holiday and the cottage was amazing, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean."

Location wise there was not a lot within walking distance but most places accessible within 30 minutes drive and it did not affect our stay. My only constructive feedback would be that as there were 12 adults in the cottage, there were not enough seats round the dining table (only sat 10 ) and in the lounge it could have done with another sofa as we had to bring chairs in from the bedrooms. There were plenty of sofas in the games room so would suggest moving one of them upstairs to the lounge. Other than that we had a fabulous weekend and would love to return.

The only thing I would say which is NOT a criticism is that it would have been nice to know about the building works next door as the builders were parked on the property car park when we arrived but this did not bother us.
