Sleeps 8

As soon as you step inside this North Wales cottage, Woodberry offers a classic, rural aesthetic, authentic to its country positioning, with ample space, double ceilings with character wooden beams, and tasteful decor that is perfect to luxuriate in.

An attractive Llyn Peninsula holiday cottage near Criccieth, Woodberry boasts a spacious sitting room, with premium dark leather sofas, a centre-piece open fireplace with a traditional wood burning stove and a flat-screen TV, with rustic wooden furniture to complete with an atmosphere.

Further into the property is the annexed kitchen, with all modern appliances and a breakfast bar for up to four diners. Towards the staircase is the elegant dining table, seating up to eight, with metalwork chairs. Also downstairs is the family bathroom and two of the four bedrooms, one double with en-suite and one twin layout. Upstairs are the two remaining bedrooms, with sloped ceilings, fur throws and double beds, while outside is a private patio area and a balustrade.

While you are perfectly placed to explore Snowdonia, and the quaint seaside resorts of Criccieth, Pwllheli and Abersoch, the Talhenbont grounds are more than enough to delight, with boundless green gardens, woodlands, a stretch of riverside over a mile and private quarters for wildlife. At Woodberry, you are truly residing in a piece of paradise. The detached stone build cottage is hard to beat in luxury.

Well equipped, attractive accommodation in lovely setting, offer

The service given by Roger, the owner, was friendly and welcoming, without being intrusive. The kitchen was well equipped as was the rest of the house. The location was in an Estate that was a bit unusual and therefore interesting, with a tennis court, and above a narrow river that was delightful.

The only minor criticisms that I could make was that I found the directions slightly unclear, and the tennis court could do with resurfacing, but this is to cavil at what was a very enjoyable week away.

Peace and quite, just back from a week staying with family here we so didn't want to leave! Amazing place for anyone wanting to get away from it all. Lovely walks.
Yes the tennis court could be done up a little and a few small things could be sorted out but these lovely people that run and work there are doing a grand job. Get booking today!

Beautiful characterful warm property

Fantastic property with everything you could possibly want. Lovely open log fire with wood provided. The bedrooms are superb. The grounds are lovingly kept with plenty to see. There are woodland walks leading to the river. The owner is a lovely personand nothing is too much trouble. I cannot wait to go back again. Thank you for a lovely break. I will miss the daily visit from the peacocks. My husband and I took my elderly parents and two dogs. There are two bedrooms downstairs which were just right with a bathroom and shower room also on the ground floor. The master bedroom is superb with a dressing area and washroom..fabulous

The estate had very nice gardens, a homemade adventure playground and an area of woodland with some well marked walks. All of these were very useful for entertaining children.

Woodberry was absolutely fabulous, it catered for everything and was very luxurious. My mother, who is very ill, stayed there and had a smile on her face from the minute she got there. The fire was excellent and really set off the living room. Beautiful.
