"Wet but great fun!" The accommodation was superb, lots of lovely fluffy towels provided and very friendly proprietors. Spectacular views although we were exceptionally unlucky with the weather so Mountains often masked by cloud. Local town provides all that is required shopping and restaurant wise. Enjoyed the cows wandering past our window at breakfast time! A super place for walkers and nature lovers.

"Great location and views" The location of this pet-friendly cottage means you can walk from the door and leave the car behind. Stunning views from the warm sitting room. Unlike many holiday cottages the kitchen is well-equipped.The only downside is that there's no outside lobby for wet and muddy walking gear.Despite tranquil rural location it's only a few miles from Dolgellau for food shopping and the great George III pub at Penmanpool is a pleasant 20 minute walk away.

"Excellent place for an active but quiet family weekend." The cottage was better than the pictures and was exactly what we were looking for, i.e. in the country, with spectacular views, but nearer enough to the essentials. Would definitely look to use the place again.

"Perfect Holiday" This was the third time we have stayed with Mr. & Mrs Jones. The cottage, location, general conditions etc. cannot be better. We would recommend this cottage very highly.

"A Peaceful Retreat" We were very pleased to be able to take a holiday at this peaceful location, booking was easy, and on arrival we were greeted with a hospitality tray which was very welcome, and a lovely homely feel to the cottage which was to a high standard. It was nice to get to meet the owners who could advise us about the area - places to go etc. The cottage was beautifully appointed, with central heating so we were nice and warm, given the time of year. Although the cottages are surrounded by the fields and countryside, which gave us a lovely view, Dolgellau was only two miles away, so very convenient for the necessary shopping. A thoroughly enjoyable week that we would love to repeat.
