This quintessential Welsh country cottage in Gwynedd with magnificent rural and sea views nestles in a secluded location in the hamlet of Garnfadryn in the Llyn Peninsula.
Tyddyn Difyr is as charming a holiday cottage as you could expect to find on the Llyn Peninsula - and the competition is pretty fierce!
Nestling in a sheltered rural location in the lee of Garn Fadryn, it lies within easy reach of glorious sandy beaches on both sides of the Peninsula. It lies within a veritable walkers paradise with beautiful well-marked countryside walks or along the coast path as well as being within easy day-trip range of Snowdonia's peaks and valleys.
Recently refurbished, it is a successful marriage of old and new and this is very apparent in the large, open plan lounge, with its wealth of beams, and big stone inglenook with a log burning stove (logs provided). Home from home comforts are taken care of with comfortable soft furnishings, flat screen TV with Freeview/DVD, Wi-Fi and a telephone (for incoming calls only). Within the kitchen/diner, there is an electric oven/hob, fridge, microwave, and a washing machine. On the ground floor there is also a very nice, recently installed bathroom/toilet with an over bath electric shower. There are two bedrooms: a double on the ground floor (with an original Victorian brass bedstead) and a twin-bedded gallery crogloft upstairs. High chair and safety gate available. Bed linen provided and all fuel charges (including oil central heating) included in the rental. No towels.
Within the large 3/4 acre grounds, there is parking for 2/3 cars, a wood store with a plentiful supply of logs, a raised patio area with barbecue, patio furniture and loungers, as well as an outside lavatory /drying room with vanity wash hand basin and a tumble dryer. Non-smokers only. No pets.
