Abbey Dore Court in rural Herefordshire is a large 9-bedroom 18th-century Victorian holiday home featured on Channel 4’s ‘Country House Rescue’. It has been carefully renovated and restored to reflect the heritage of the grand house that it was in the Victorian age. Abbey Dore Court sleeps up to 22 people and has 8 bathrooms. It is a pet-friendly self-catering holiday home with a hot tub, Wi-Fi and broadband.

Abbey Dore Court has been beautifully renovated throughout, including the elegant and modern kitchen that retains its country style features Facilities include an electric oven with electric hob as well as an Aga, an American-style fridge freezer and an additional fridge freezer. There are 2 dishwashers for you to use along with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a microwave oven. There is also an additional utility room. Also on the ground floor at Abbey Dore Court is a large dining room with an open fire that boasts a wonderfully long and elegant oak table. The impressive drawing room boasts a grand bay window, beautiful ornate ceilings along with chandeliers and gorgeous and comfortable sofas. This room was previously the ballroom of the grand house. There is an additional morning room also having beautiful large windows with seating, an open fire and flat screen TV.

There are 9 bedrooms at Abbey Dore Court. These include:

• A grand family room with a super king-size double bed and two sofa beds with an ensuite bathroom that has a shower over the bath.

• Three King-size double bedrooms with either an ensuite bathroom or an ensuite shower room.

• Two Super King-size double bedroom with wash basin with that can be converted to a twin room one with basin and one without

• A double with ensuite bathroom

• A double bedroom with a wash hand basin

• A twin bedroom.

There are a further three bathrooms including baths with shower over baths or separate showers and shower rooms.

Finally, at Abbey Dore Court there is a children’s room complete with Nintendo Wii and TV with DVD player and beanbags as well as a morning room with TV and wood burner.

Set in its own gardens and surrounded by the Abbey Dore Court Gardens (open to the public), is a fully-enclosed lawned garden area alongside a gravelled sitting area complete with barbecue and furniture as well as a six seater hot tub.

Abbey Dore court is an exceptional large holiday home in Abbey Dore in Herefordshire, set on the River Dore with easy access to the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. A range of attractive towns are close by with Hereford and Ross-on-Wye to the East and crossing the border, you can visit Abergavenny and Crickhowell in Wales. This is a wonderful large self-catering holiday home finished to the most exquisite standards.

A fantastic house which was beautifully kept and with all the amenities you could wish for in lovely surroundings.

It was a very spacious for the amount of people there. The young people enjoyed the hot tub. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plentiful hot water in the bathrooms.
