Exceptional by L.Blyth on June 16th 2016
"One word......exceptional. This is an amazing cottage and location. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and with great consideration for detail, comfort and well being. It is warm and comfortable, yet bright and airy. The kitchen is very well designed with all that you need to snuggle down, with comfort food, or something fresh and healthy. the view from the dining area is lovely especially if your facing the window with a breathtaking view of the loch. The living room is hard to leave, as there is an excellent log burner as well as a good stock of wood in the room with you, saving a trip outside and the sofa, armchair and window seats are so inviting and comfortable, you will find it hard to get up and go anywhere. If you do eventually get up, the bedroom is fantastic, again bright and airy with plenty of storage. The log burner in the living room has a glass back which is in the bedroom, so you can safely enjoy your fire even in bed. The bathroom is a wow too, with an nice air jet bath as well as a separate shower with large deluge water head and normal hose head. The bathroom is large fresh clean and made to a very high standard. I think the floor is heated too, but not too sure, but the floor was never cold. We never used the conservatory, but this is also a lovey part of the house. I guess it would be a great place for children to play, but it was just two of us staying. The area around the Loch is stunning, great for walkers, and just beautiful to look at. this house is on it's own with no other neighbors, so it is very quiet in the day and especially at night as well as very private. There are no public roads any where near this place. AMAZING!!!"
Wow, wow and wow! by M. Douglas on June 12th 2016
Wow, wow and wow! Location - amazing, views - magnificent, accommodation - first class! Make sure you take lots of food and drink when you stay at this cottage as you will never want to leave. The lochside location is superb, the cottage is the only inhabitable cottage at the loch and we felt extremely privileged to be able to stay there. The scenery constantly changes depending on the weather and even in the rain it is spectacular. The cottage has been professionally designed and is absolutely gorgeous. It is a very comfortable space to live in and has everything you could possibly want, so even if the weather is not so good you will be very happy to stay in. A very, very special place where you will completely unwind and de-stress. We will be back!
Absolutely beautiful and so luxurious by B. Roberts on May 29th 2016
The cottage is absolutely beautiful & so luxurious, there's been real attention paid to detail, it's stylish, comfortable & relaxing. It's extremely well-equipped with everything you could ever need. Lovely touches like a hamper filled with fabulous goodies including wine, beer, shortbread, chocolates & nibbles (even dog treats!) as well as milk, coffee, tea & numerous other things you would usually need to take to a self-catering cottage. The lounge is so comfortable with a fabulous armchair, big sofa & lots of cushions. I loved the window seats in the lounge & kitchen, you could look at the beautiful views for hours. I didn't use the wood-burning stove as it was very warm weather but the fact that it's double-sided to the bedroom will be wonderful at chillier times. The bed is the comfiest I've ever slept in & the pillows are amazing (so much so I want to buy the same ones for home!) & the bed linen is of the highest quality. The bathroom is beautiful with a brilliant shower & whirlpool bath not to mention gorgeous Highland Soap Company products. There's even a tv to watch whilst you're in the bath! There's a great selection of books & magazines as well as information on the local area which is beautiful with an abundance of things to do. The immediate surroundings are simply stunning with lots of lovely walks around the loch & views to die for. Sitting on the bench at the front of the cottage overlooking the loch is beautiful & so peaceful. All in all, it's one of those places you never want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful weekend, I would highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious break to come & stay at the cottage, it would be impossible not to love it.
