PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES AND SPACE by Mr Moran, Cheltenham, September 2016 on February 16th 2017
Morven is an amazing family house, with plenty of room for 12 adults. Children would love playing hide and seek indoors, where several corridors link 3 lounges/studies, a large dining room, large well equipped kitchen, conservatory with breakfast area, and a utility room. The garden is enclosed and suited for outdoor games. We especially liked the Carey family history which is found in many rooms. We felt as though we were visiting as friends rather than as tenants. Sunny weather all week was a bonus for our October holiday: the area has numerous outdoor activities (walking, funicular railway, golf, horse riding, historic sites, sculpture park). There are also many indoor activities which we did not need on this holiday. The Boathouse at Insh Water Sports serves excellent meals and is only 20 min walk from Morven.
