This large and utterly charming Highland country lodge offering scenic views towards the the Monadhliath, Feshie and Cairngorm Mountains, is privately located in Newtonmore and within easy reach of Aviemore and the outdoor sporting activities and walks within the Cairngorms National Park.

With plenty of space extending over two floors this house perfectly suits a large family group or groups of friends coming together for holidays, celebrations or reunions in this, one of the most picturesque parts of Scotland.

Tall Pines Lodge has eight tastefully decorated bedrooms, most having en-suite bathrooms whle others have private bathrooms close by. Certainly, there shold ber no bathroom queues in the mornings.

There is also a generous supply of public areas with no less than three sitting rooms, one a 'grown ups' room, one a TV room and one a snug ideal for the younger family members.

The house is well endowed with social living spaces which include: * A formal dining room complete with woodburner * A breakfast room that can also play the part of a pub, having its own bar (provided you stock its shelves!).

The gardens that surround the Lodge are very appealing and contain mature tall pine trees and secluded seating areas.

Golf lovers will be delighted to learn that the Newtonmore Golf Course is within buggy towing distance. Visitors are most welcome. the club house is just seconds from your door and visitors are very welcome.

Newtonmore itself has all the necessary local shops, banks, barsand cafes plus 2 intriguing museums: The MacPhereson Clan Museum, and the Outdoor Museumof Highland Life.

If you are tempted to climb a few Munros then Tall Pines Lodge is within one hour’s drive of over 50.

Perhaps watersports is your choice and the Loch Insch Watersports Centre is a short drive away and offers a range of watersports including: sail sports, paddle sports, raft building and fishing and rowing on the wonderful loch. World class shinty matches (a kind of violent hockey) are played on the edge of the village.

The area is abundant in wildlife and ideal for walking holidays - whether for riverside walks along the River Spey or bagging one of the many Munros within an easy drive of Newtonmore as well as many local trails suitable for all ages.
