EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY NEEDED by Kate Smyth, Taunton. 17.08.15 on January 25th 2017
Bouldnor cottage is an extremely well equipped holiday home, fantastic for children. Everything we could have possibly needed was included. Travelling with a baby and young children can be stressful but not here. A massive garden with a trampoline and dens were brilliant. We played cricket in the evenings, even spotted red squirrels and rabbits. The beds were very comfortable with lots of soft towels etc. We could walk to the sea (although stony) and sandy beaches are a short drive away. We had a lovely break here and am sure we'll be back!
JUST PERFECT by Pamela, Exeter. 06.06.16 on January 25th 2017
We had a wonderful week here. The 'cottage' is actually the entire ground floor of an impressive house with an amazingly large fully enclosed garden - perfect for our dogs. We had regular visits in the garden from several pheasants, a red squirrel, rabbits and various birds, all of which encouraged us to buy some bird seed and peanuts to leave out for them daily. The house is spacious and very comfortable, and most things that you would need are already there, just one or two personal preferences not available in the kitchen. The location is perfect, 2 minutes drive from the ferry (or the town) or 25 minutes walk into the town. With a small village-like feel, Yarmouth has a few shops and many restaurants, plus a beautiful grassed area by the estuary where boats are moored up. On this side of the island you are away from the busier holiday resorts, so it is very peaceful - just perfect.
