LOVELY HOUSE WITH A GREAT WATERFRONT VIEW by Mrs Susan Holder, Chelmsford on 15/09/2014 on March 10th 2017
Lovely 2-bedroomed house well kept and equipped, facing the Marina within the East Cowes Marina development, the ever changing scene of people with their boats makes it an interesting pastime just sitting and watching. Nearby supermarket makes it easy for all grocery requirements.
A WONDERFUL FORTNIGHT AT No. 11 by Graham Davies, Leicester on 10/08/2015 on March 10th 2017
Just returned from a great 2 week stay at 11 Cavalier Quay. The house is an ideal base for exploring the Isle of Wight with nowhere more than 40 minutes’ drive away. The house was well equipped and in a great location on the East Cowes marina. Watching the activity on the marina every morning became very addictive and The Lifeboat pub, just a few minutes’ walk away is highly recommended. Food is very good and service is excellent.
LOVELY, CLEAN AND WELL-EQUIPPED! by Sharyn Mitchell, Basingstoke on 22/05/2016 on March 10th 2017
We spent a week at 11 Cavalier Quay and had a great time. A lovely, clean, well equipped house with outdoor seating front and back as well as a large conservatory with a dining table that seats 6. There is always something to look at as the pontoon opposite the house seems to be the one used by visiting boats. River traffic is almost constant but not intrusive. And we saw a marvellous sunset most nights (the exception was a lightening storm which was great too). The shops, cafes and ferry terminals in East Cowes are just a 10 minute walk away and the nearest pub - The Lifeboat - is even closer along the quayside. And it serves excellent food. The island is small so nowhere is far away and I would recommend this property as a great base to explore the island.
